Book family 7.101–7.102 from Advanced Concepts of Strength & Conditioning for Tennis.
Video References And Limits
The clip jumps forward onto the box and backward to two rings on the approach side. References 7.101–7.102 use one ring on each side of the box and a straddling ground stance. Use the clip for bilateral squat-landing and rebound details; follow the written side-by-side setup. Its apparent forward gaze does not make it a complete demonstration of 7.102.
Modified Forward-And-Backward Squat Rebounds
Setup And Execution
Squat Box Jump Rebounds I / II — 7.101–7.102: secure a 10–15-inch box narrower than shoulder width. Place one ring on each side and begin straddling the box, one foot per ring. Jump onto it with both feet close together, then jump off into the wider ring stance. Land on both feet simultaneously, flexing the knees to approximately 90°, and immediately rebound onto the box. I uses downward gaze at the ground and box contacts; II uses forward gaze. Keep both ground contacts beside the box throughout the sequence.
Prepare with the squat and squat jump. Retain the side-by-side ground contacts, simultaneous two-foot landing and selected gaze before linking repeated rebounds.
