Setup And Execution

Single-Leg Squat — 7.03: start in an athletic stance and transfer onto one leg. Flex the free knee approximately 90° behind the body. Lower on the support leg toward the source’s approximately 45° knee-flexion target, retaining front-to-back balance and controlled foot contact. Hold for one second, then extend the support knee to return to the starting position. Repeat on the other leg. Use a shallower squat when necessary to keep the support foot stable.

Adjust The Difficulty

Use a shallower squat when necessary to keep the support foot stable.

Preparation

Practise lowering and returning with stable foot contact before increasing the squat depth.

Coaching Check

Retain front-to-back balance and controlled support-foot contact. Hold the lowered position for one second before extending the support knee.
