Kneel And Jump For Tennis | Exercise 5.10
Book exercise 5.10 from Advanced Concepts of Strength & Conditioning for Tennis.
Demonstration
The demonstration used for assessment 4.12 shows the same kneeling-to-squat task prescribed in preparation exercise 5.10. Use it to review the movement; preparation repetitions are not a test score.
The clip shows one repetition with an arm swing and a two-foot squat landing. It does not demonstrate a repeated preparation set.
5.10 Kneel & Jump
Kneel with knees shoulder-width apart. Use the arm swing to leave the ground and rapidly bring the feet underneath the body. Land on both feet in a squat with legs shoulder-width apart. This shares the movement task of assessment 4.12; in preparation, select repetitions for movement quality rather than scoring a pass or fail.
