How To Perform The Exercise
Start with the bar on the floor in a deadlift position. Extend the knees and hips in a controlled first pull. Accelerate through the second pull, then bend the elbows to guide the bar upward close to the body. This high pull has no front-rack catch; do not force a fixed peak height.
Technique Cue
Keep the first pull controlled, the bar close to the body and the spine neutral.
